Who are Siloam?

Siloam Construction Services Ltd (SCS) was set up in 1998 by David Payne. David has a degree in Civil Engineering and worked as an engineer for Wimpey construction from 1981 to 1987 on a variety of project from IBM’s HQ in Cosham to a Palace for the Prime Minister of Muscat.

Between 1987 and 1998 David was a Director of Morgan Lovell working on High quality office refurbishment and fitting out projects in the Thames Valley for a variety of clients from Oracle to British Airways.

From 1998 to 2009 David worked as a consultant to Rogers Chapman and Jones Lang La salle in the capacity of Project Manager on a number of high profile construction projects. During this time David built a house for a friend in 2004 and became NHBC registered, this was so enjoyable that David built a few others whilst still continuing his PM work.

In 2009 David gave up his consultancy to concentrate on house building and to date Siloam have completed 27 new properties.

In 2012 Siloam acquired Felgate Building Services to strengthen the construction team. Peter Felgate has worked in the house building industry for 15 years and will eventually take over the running of Siloam when David retires.

Siloam uses a core team of 20 highly skilled tradesmen who have been known to David & Peter for over 15 years and who consistently produce high quality work.
